HELPS is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to equipping individuals and families with the tools, training, and support needed to build sustainable, purpose-filled lives through meaningful work and community connection. Rooted in dignity, stewardship, and service, HELPS exists to meet people where they are and walk alongside them toward stability, growth, and long-term self-sufficiency.
Our work focuses on bridging the gap between need and opportunity. HELPS provides practical workforce preparation, life navigation support, and access to income-building pathways designed for real people facing real barriers — including limited work history, technology gaps, caregiving responsibilities, or economic disruption. Through training programs, community workshops, and cooperative work models, participants gain both skills and confidence to move forward.
At the core of HELPS is a commitment to sustainable impact. We believe relief is important, but empowerment is essential. Our programs are designed not just to assist, but to equip — offering structure, accountability, and ongoing support that helps individuals create steady income, strengthen personal responsibility, and reengage with their communities in meaningful ways.
Guided by faith and grounded in practical action, HELPS also serves as a connector — collaborating with local agencies, churches, and partners to ensure participants are supported holistically. By combining compassion with clear pathways to progress, HELPS works to transform hardship into hope and opportunity into lasting change.
